
ROYAL OAK, MI — The Royal Oak Police Department will begin moving to a new police station Monday, city officials said Friday, and the new location, 450 E. 11 Mile, should be fully operational on Feb. 1.
“I can’t overstate what a big deal this is for our officers,” Police Chief Corrigan O’Donohue said. “At the PD we are all so grateful to the residents of Royal Oak for our new station. It is a state-of-the-art building and will make police operations much more efficient and effective. I would also like to thank our law enforcement partners in Madison Heights and Troy for helping us while we complete the move to our new headquarters.”
