KAREN: WELCOME BACK. THE BOSTON PUBLIC LIBRARY IS ONE OF BOSTON’S AND THE COUNTRIES MOST HISTORIC INSTANT — COUNTRY’S HISTORIC INSTITUTIONS. ESTABLISHED IN 1848 IT WAS THE LARGEST FREE MUNICIPAL LIBRARY IN THE UNITED STATES. ITS LANDMARK LOCATION CARRIES AN INSCRIPTION ON ITS EASTERN EXTERIOR DEDICATED TO THE ADVANCEMENT OF LEARNING.
