ROYAL OAK, MI — Beaumont Health has begun administering second doses of COVID-19 vaccines to its front-line workers, the health system said Wednesday.
The health system said it has administered more than 15,000 vaccines at its Beaumont Service Center as Tuesday. The system now has the capacity to vaccinate more than 3,200 per day, officials said.
“We have cared for more COVID-19 patients than any other health system in Michigan,” Beaumont Health Chief Nursing Officer Susan Grant said. “Our plan is to launch more robust clinics at some of our hospital campuses, and other community locations. We want to vaccinate as many people as we can as quickly as possible.”
