Each spring and fall, the Carmel Education Foundation offers grants to teachers and schools to assist with curriculum supplies, projects and professional development.

“We are so excited about our job when we can give money to the teachers to enhance the teaching in the classroom,” Stephanie McDonald, CEF co-director, said.

In the most recent grant cycle, CEF announced 17 grants to 58 teachers, totaling $16,454. Fundraising events such as the Ghosts and Goblins 5K and a telethon…
