The Swift Current Branch Library is preparing to host a pair of youth-focused programs this weekend, including a St. Patrick’s Day-themed event for younger children and the launch of a new creative space for teens.
Public Services Manager Olivia Brotzell says the library will host its St. Patrick’s Day Library Palooza on Saturday morning.
“It’s our St. Patrick’s Day Library Palooza for kids aged four to 12,” Brotzell said. “It will be a fun hour of games and crafts all themed around St. Patrick’s Day.”
The event begins at 10:30 a.m. and will feature a variety of themed crafts and interactive activities.
Brotzell says the program is free to attend, but registration is required and spaces are limited.
“Spots are filling up fast,” she said. “Give us a call at 306-778-2752 or e-mail sc@chinook.lib.sk.ca to register.”
