MakerSpace to Elevate STEM Programming for All Ages, Expected to Open to Public in June

Sci-Tech Discovery Center, Frisco’s leading family-friendly cultural and educational destination, has been awarded $50,000 by Raytheon Company’s Space and Airborne Systems business to help create a new MakerSpace in Colin County.

The MakerSpace, presented by Raytheon, will give tinkerers, inventors and budding engineers access to programs, technology and tools to test, prototype, demonstrate and build almost anything they can imagine.
