Dallas, TX, January 7, 2025- It is with great excitement that Dallas Makerspace (DMS) announces the Printmaking committee’s 4th annual steamroller event along with the Creative Arts 10×10 Art Show on April 26, 2025, at the Dallas Makerspace
The 4th Annual Steamroller Event is a much-anticipated tradition hosted by the DMS Printmaking Committee, bringing the print community together for a unique and creative experience. Participants collaborate to carve and prepare 2-foot by 3-foot blocks, using various techniques such as relief carving, routers, lasers, and traditional hand-carving tools. On the day of the event, a steamroller is used to press the blocks, producing larger-than-life prints, each showcasing the distinct style and personality of the artist. To ensure the event’s success, the committee has scheduled regular workdays leading up to the big day on April 26th.
