ELLSWORTH – Art lovers and curious minds are invited to explore the creative makerspace in downtown Ellsworth as the artists of the 16 State Street host their first-ever Open Studio event on Friday, June 6 from 1-6 p.m.
This special event offers an opportunity for the public to step inside the working studios of four people — Curt Larson, Ellen Lancaster, Rosalie Kell and Amy Reisman. From visual art and pottery to installation and theater, each space offers a unique window into the artistic and creative process.
Amy Reisman – A maker of functional beauty, Amy showcases wheel-thrown pottery, felted items, and handcrafted utilitarian goods such as soaps — perfect for daily use or meaningful gifts.
Curt Larson – A 2D painter and visual artist, Curt’s expressive work explores form, color, the human figure and texture.
