Educators can apply for SELCO grants

SELCO Community Credit Union will begin accepting applications Aug. 15 through Sept. 30 for its $125,000 in grants and classroom makeovers, designed to help educators who have to pay out of pocket for classroom expenses.
SELCO will award several Creative Educator Grants, each worth up to $2,500, designed to fund imaginative classroom projects. The credit union will also offer the Regional Classroom Makeovers to fund three projects, up to $15,000 each. The programs are part of SELCO Steps Up, a community outreach initiative.
