Joanne Mueller and Fatimah Arifin moved the repurposed tables and chairs around Verona Maker Space with ease.
“Typically, our classroom is very fluid and dynamic,” the two explained. “We rearrange depending on what kind of workshop or class we’re hosting.”
While the classroom might not look the same at any given moment, that was Mueller and Arifin’s intention. The space is designed to accommodate a wide variety of workshops for all ages, and in its few months of being open has hosted everything from metalsmithing jewelry and floral arrangement classes to board game design and coding with Legos.
