ROCKFORD, Ill. — Starting Wednesday, the Discovery Center Museum, a children’s science museum in Rockford, will host Thanksgiving-themed activities each day.
The events are in addition to more than 300 interactive exhibits already on display.
The museum will be closed for Thanksgiving on November 23.
Wednesday, November 22
- 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. — Design fall art projects in the Art Studio
- 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. — Planetarium Shows
- 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. — Live Science Shows
- 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. — Make a parade balloon (Like in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade) in the Makerspace
Friday, November 24
- 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. — Design fall art projects in the Art Studio
