One of the biggest events on the University of Newcastle’s (UoN) calendar, Open Day, returns this weekend.
And, thousands of people are expected to sample a taste of uni life with a plethora of activations, from robot football to virtual reality learning, a mock court to race cars, and much more, on Saturday 26 August.
Between 9am and 3pm, the UoN’s Callaghan Campus and City Campus (NUspace and Q Building) will welcome prospective students and give them an opportunity to explore the sites, gain helpful advice and meet future lecturers.
“Whether you are finishing school or are already in the workforce and looking to expand your skills, there’s a place for you at our university,” Vice-Chancellor and president Professor Alex Zelinsky AO said.
