KENNETT SQUARE — It’s a ‘Wow!’ moment.
That first view of all that glass and stone at the now-under-construction, Kennett Library and Resource Center, from the hill on State Street, takes one’s breath away.
Mary Hutchins, development director, said the 33,485-square-foot structure, at State and Willow streets, will become both a modern-school and old-school library, and will be both calming and mellow.
“There is nothing like this in the community,” Hutchins said. “I don’t know if there’s a building like this in the county.”
