CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A Clarksville business owner was indicted Monday by a federal grand jury on four counts of tax fraud after nearly a decade of allegedly dodging federal income taxes and filing false returns.
David Haley, 64, the owner and operator of Haley & Associates Mechanical Contractors in Clarksville, faces four counts of filing false tax returns for tax years 2014 through 2017, according to a news release from David Boling, public information officer for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Tennessee.
The charges were announced Tuesday by Acting U.S. Attorney Mary Jane Stewart.
