2020 is drawing to a close, and what a year it has been! In so many ways, 2020 has challenged us, wrong-footed us and forced us to make difficult decisions. It was not an easy year. As you’re reading this, my wish for you is an upcoming year that is renewing, one that rebuilds much of what 2020 has taken from us.
In spite of the challenges 2020 brought, I was also honored to witness amazing examples of strength, commitment and courage. To all the organizations, individuals and businesses who took steps to serve your community and help a fellow community member in need (and there were many!), I am honored to live and serve in our community with you.
Manitowoc Public Library worked hard to remain true to our mission of promoting a culture of reading and providing access to information. We continued to build ways to enhance literacy within our community, in spite of the pandemic…
