LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Some of Lexington’s crafters gathered today for the Kre8 Market fair and expo Saturday.
The expo was the first event of its kind at Kre8now’s new location on Codell Drive.
It was held at the Kre8now maker space, a community workshop where visitors can learn to master woodwork, metal work, laser cutting, 3D printing, and more.
“We are a collective of member makers, so we are a community workshop. So for our expo here today we wanted to show off who we are at Kre8now and what we are capable of making. So we have our member made area over here with all our things our members have made with the tools that we have in house” said Stephanie Fan, Program Coordinator.
400 to 600 people were estimated to have been in attendance over the course of the day.
