Samuels Library in Front Royal will hold the following programs for adults in September:
• The library will be closed on Monday for Labor Day.
• SamiCon-The Ultimate Time Machine: 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Sept. 9, dress up as favorite superhero, fantasy or comic book character. Featuring escape rooms, coloring tables, arcade, costume contest, table-top games, live action role play demos, scavenger hunt, mine craft, maker’s space, local magician Kevin Owens and presentation by author/artist Ben Hatke.
• GED classes: 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m., every Tuesday and Thursday through Laurel Ridge Community College. The course is free. Registrations dates and deadlines can be found at www.laurelridge.edu.
