Three School District of Philadelphia principals who have led the charge in turning their schools around in under three years are among Philly’s seven best principals.
Kareem Thomas of Hamilton Disston Elementary School, Shavonne McMillan of Vaux Pig Picture High School, and Brian Johnson of John Bartram High School received the 2021 Christian R. and Mary F. Lindback Award for Distinguished Principal Leadership.
The group also includes Colleen Bowen of Clara Barton Elementary, Pauline Cheung of Francis Scott Key Elementary, Luke Hostetter of Baldi Middle School, and Lisa Mesi of Philadelphia High School for Girls.
