AVON LAKE, Ohio — A new business in Northeast Ohio is providing a place for people to unleash their inner artist — no experience necessary.
Melissa Jackson is a self-taught jewelry designer.
“This was a great way for me to kind of, like, de-stress and have something to call my own,” she said.
Her hobby grew into a small business.
“So many of my customers are from this area and I have seen them wearing my pieces out,” she said. “And it makes me feel so good.”
So good, that she wants to share her skills with others looking for a creative outlet by hosting a class at The Maker Space Studios in Avon Lake.
