Maryland woodworking makerspace launches holiday membership drive

ROCKVILLE, Md. — A Maryland makerspace is looking to spread a little holiday cheer for Montgomery County residents looking for a crafty experience. 

White Flint Creations, a unique 3,500-square-foot woodworking space in Rockville, Maryland, announced a discounted one-month holiday membership for hobbyists seeking a new creative outlet. The $295 promotion, valued at $420, marks the collective’s effort to lower the barrier of entry for those interested in the “maker movement.”

Co-founder Brendan Gregory said the space was born out of the need to fill a void in the local woodworking community.

“Whether you’re expressing your creativity with woodworking for the first time or seeking advanced tools you can’t fit in your garage, our space is designed to help you learn, share, and create,” Gregory said.
