YORK COUNTY, Pa. — After the Black Friday frenzy and Cyber Monday melee, local nonprofits in York County are asking you to keep them in mind for Giving Tuesday.
Giving Tuesday is a day for people to show their generosity to their favorite nonprofit or charity. FOX43 News got a chance to talk to a few about the work they do and how donations can help further that work.
York Habitat for Humanity was founded in 1985 and has been building and providing safe and affordable housing to local families in need. Since its installation, York Habitat for Humanity has built thousands of homes, helped hundreds of families become homeowners, taught construction experience and offered families budgeting and financial relief opportunities.
