Emporia’s Imaginarium made a big impression on Gov. Laura Kelly when she made a stop at the STEM education and makerspace on Tuesday.
Founded in 2022 by Melanie Curtis and Dell Jacob and located in the Emporia Main Street Incubator Space at 729 Commercial St., Imaginarium provides a place for young makers, creators, and entrepreneurs to explore and build within the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The organization offers classes, camps, courses for homeschooled students, as well as educational opportunities for area schools.
