The Glowforge Aura is squarely aimed at home crafters ready to move from electronic paper cutters to lasers, but not ready to spend thousands of dollars on a premium Glowforge CO2 laser cutter. The Aura is a beginner machine with a smaller footprint and a low power laser that is designed to cut and engrave typical craft materials like paper, thin wood, leather and even a specially made t-shirt faux vinyl.
