Tag, bake sale taking place at Copper Hill Church
EAST GRANBY – Copper Hill United Methodist Church will host a tag and bake sale on Saturday, April 29, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at 27 Copper Hill Road. Proceeds will support Ukraine. Call Susan at 860-668-1031 for info.
Alexander King House Museum seeking docents
SUFFIELD – Training for new docents will be starting soon for the historic Alexander King House Museum and Barn on South Main Street, which is maintained by The Suffield Historical Society. The museum is open May through September from 1 to 4 p.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays, during which time tours are provided. In addition to tours, volunteers are needed to help with special events: lectures, an ice cream social and the popular Holidayfest which takes place in December. Docents are not required to be present at all tours or special events.
