
The Bock Family Foundation awarded 24 grants to nonprofit groups in northern Dallas County Monday afternoon, giving out $83,193 in their fall grant cycle.
The largest grants presented included: $9,350 to the P.A.C.E.S.(Perry’s Academic Cultural and Enrichment Services) before and after school program, the Perry Volunteer Firefighters received $9,340 for their hose management system and they awarded $8,000 to the Dallas County Conservation Board to construct the Raptor Exhibit for the Forest Park Museum.
Since its founding in 2002, the Bock Family Foundation has now awarded more than $2.5 million to local nonprofits. The grants are awarded twice a year, in the spring and fall, and the next deadline for grant proposals is March 1st. The full list will be available here.
