South Amherst Middle School has been recognized by the National Organization of Project Lead The Way (PLTW) and is deemed a Distinguished Building for 2019-2020! The PLTW recognition program is designed to honor districts and schools committed to increasing student access, engagement, and achievement in their PLTW programs.
Mr. Chuck Latto, SAMS PLTW Teachers stated, “I am proud to be a part of SAMS’s commitment to a premier STEM program such as Project Lead The Way. Research shows that students in middle school are already making decisions about their career paths.
