Mentor High School hosting programs at The Hub’s makerspace – News-Herald

Mentor Public Library invites public to explore makerspace at The Hub – News-Herald

Adults can make snowman or Hanukkah-themed lanterns during seasonal programs this December at The Hub inside of Mentor High School.

Use The Hub’s Cricut to create a Snowman Lantern that can be a cute ornament or mantel light at 5 p.m., Dec. 20. Registration is required and opens on Dec. 6.

Make a Hanukkah-inspired lantern during the Festival of Lights at 5 p.m., Dec. 22. Registration is required and opens on Dec. 8.

Both of these programs are free and will be hosted by Mentor Public Library. Sign up at www.mentorpl.org or call The Hub at 440-205-6011.

The Hub’s makerspace is filled with state-of the-art equipment, including a green-screen studio, T-shirt press, Cricut Maker, large-format printer and more. People don’t need to be a student at Mentor High School or even a resident of Mentor to…
