Lafayette Public Library hosts Maker Mondays – Colorado Hometown Weekly

The Lafayette Public Library has more than just books, it has a variety of courses at the makerspace studio.

On Monday, the makerspace held a “make a mini-mitten” class hosted by the bilingual assistant librarian Zoe Boiarsky. The drop-in class had both experienced and novice knitters. In the class, she taught patrons how to knit in the round with double-pointed needles and purl and knit stitches; and she had the pattern available for the mittens. She also had a simpler pattern for novice knitters.
