Coimbatore: The city would soon get an interactive science centre. Named ‘Experimenta’, the centre would help children learn science in a fun-filled manner.
Set up by GD Naidu Charities at its complex on Avinashi Road, where GD Science Museum and Gedee Car Museum are housed, finance minister P T R Palanivel Thiagarajan would inaugurate the centre on February 28.
The science centre is spread over 40,000sqft with modern amenities and more than 120 interactive science exhibits.
Talking to the media, G D Gopal, managing trustee, GD Naidu Charities, said the centre would offer students a playful approach to science and technology, with specially designed exhibits that promote a nurturing educational experience.
