So many of us continue to struggle with finding solutions of what to do with our old and beloved VHS tapes, cassette tapes, and vinyl records.

Thankfully, the Ankeny Kirkendall Public Library has an answer. The Ankeny library offers a makerspace lab called Hatch with a variety of equipment to help you convert your old forms of media to digital.

Scanning photos, negatives, and slides is one of the easiest ways to begin digitizing your family’s history. Cassette tapes and vinyl records can also be digitized, enhanced, and saved to CDs or flash drives. VHS…
