Almost two years since Caledon Council broke ground for the 52,000 square-foot expansion, the Caledon East Community Complex (CECC) project is complete and will be open for programs and services on Tuesday, September 5, 2023.
Some of the new CECC features will include:
- a swimming pool;
- fitness centre and studio;
- library with maker space;
- indoor walking track overlooking a full-size gymnasium;
- an outdoor rink and pavilion (Winter 2024);
- multi-purpose and meeting spaces; and
- a dedicated section for the Caledon Sports Hall of Fame.
Recreation Programming
With programs and services being offered starting on Tuesday, September 5, the Town of Caledon encourages residents to take advantage of a variety of programs and activities for all age levels, including:
