MERRIFIELD, VA — Residents of the Mosaic District in Merrifield are now able to have food delivered to them by autonomous robots, according to a release from Uber Technologies, Inc. and Cartken, an AI-powered robotics company.
On Thursday, Uber and Cartken partnered with select merchants in the Mosaic Distict, such as Our Mom Eugenia, Pupatella, and RASA.
“Our team at Cartken is excited to further partner with Uber Eats and expand our reach to serve the Fairfax community,” said Anjali Jindal Naik, Co-Founder and COO at Cartken’s COO and co-founder, in a release. “Cartken is at an inflection point, where we are rapidly bringing our AI, computer vision, and lidar-less autonomous robots to more places, like Mosaic District, in partnership with Uber Eats.”
