The Woodland Public Library recently released a TikTok featuring President Barack Obama emphasizing the importance of public libraries and people’s freedom to read.
The TikTok highlighted resources the library provides including the ability to check out a California State Park Pass with a library card, an explorer pack with different nature activities inside, the Square One MakerSpace and health literacy toolkits.
President Obama is featured catching a book and saying hello to the library’s cat, Henrietta.
The Obama Foundation partnered with the library as part of its project to support libraries throughout the country.
“We were on board for a collaboration,” Sara Vickers, children’s librarian for the Woodland Public Library, emphasized.
