Finding the right tools to help a child learn and grow can be a little easier with help from the Mississippi Child Care Resource and Referral Center.
The new Hattiesburg center, 6068 U.S. 49, which is one of several throughout the state, offers a number of services for families, educators and childcare providers in the area.
Services include:
- help for parents looking for a childcare center
- referrals to training, technical assistance and other resources for teachers, homeschool parents and childcare providers
- access to a lending library of materials, including educational toys, books, games, puzzles
- a maker space with laminating equipment, die-cutting machines and other materials (children must have parental supervision)
