EDWARDSVILLE — The Madison County Building & Zoning Department plans one of its four electronics recycling collections for 2023 on Saturday, March 11, and appointments are required.
CJD Construction, 5257 North Illinois Route157, northeast of Edwardsville, is the site for the event. The county partners with the Illinois EPA for the collections. The others scheduled for this year are June 17, September 16, and October 21.
According to the Madison County website, these events provide an opportunity to recycle or properly dispose of waste that cannot be handled through curbside pick-up programs, including household hazardous waste and electronic waste.
