COSHOCTON − The Coshocton Port Authority recently received a grant from the State of Ohio to help the Coshocton Collaborative reach fruition.
The first round of funding from the Appalachian Community Grant Program saw $17.67 million going to projects in Athens, Logan, Somerset and Coshocton. This grouping of projects is known as the At Work in Appalachia Initiative.
It’s composed of public and private agencies across Appalachian Ohio to establish coordinated, interconnected remote work and entrepreneur hubs and locally-designed health and workforce development programming through a series of public and private partnerships.
These projects are considered lynchpins that will breathe vibrancy into downtown districts and serve as catalysts for further improvements and development.
