Scott Hitz has learned this summer that launching a new business isn’t easy.
The process can be filled with paperwork, regulations and countless other challenges.
Hitz, owner of Your Sailing Adventure, which invites customers to combine sailing with visits to local restaurants and attractions, said he’s found help with many of those challenges by turning to the Northwest Pennsylvania Innovation Beehive Network.
Started in 2014, the Beehive is a cooperative effort between Edinboro University, Penn State Behrend, Gannon University, Mercyhurst University and the Erie County Public Library.
