MIDVAAL. – Midvaal Local Municipality (MLM) Mayor Peter Teixeira recently delivered a speech to the council. In his address, Teixeira commended various departments and employees within MLM, highlighting the recent accomplishments of the municipality.
He emphasised that the municipality’s achievements would only hold value if they were visible and tangible to the local community. Teixeira reaffirmed MLM’s commitment to upholding good governance.
“While Midvaal Municipality takes pride in its financial stability, it must be reflected in tangible services that improve the socioeconomic conditions of our residents. Clean audits and financial sustainability are meaningless if our people do not experience the difference in their daily lives.”
