Jun. 28—SHARPSVILLE — Residents of Sharpsville Area School District can expect their property taxes to remain unchanged at 82 mills for the 2021-22 school year.
The Sharpsville school board voted unanimously to approve the district’s 2021-22 budget, which calls for total expenditures of $18,672,643, and estimates total revenues at $18,069,093.
Under the 2021-22 budget, taxes will remain at 82 mills, or $82 for every $1,000 of assessed property value. The owner of a property assessed at $17,280, the school district average, would pay $1,416.96 in property taxes.
Earned income taxes are expected to generate $770,588 in revenue for the school district, according to the budget.
