MACo’s County Administrators Affiliate met this week for their annual conference in beautiful Queen Anne’s County.
This two-day conference is hosted in a different county each year, and features a tour of county projects and sites, followed by a day of meetings on administrative topics. The Queen Anne’s County tour started with Everside Health Center – a facility providing affordable advanced primary care to County and Board of Education employees, serving to fill a gap in access to care while also being a recruitment and retention tool.
The group also toured the County’s newly opened YMCA and Active Aging Center, which also includes a financial literacy training program and is an innovative model for combining community services.
