FARMVILLE — The director of the Farmville Public Library has stepped down, and its youth services librarian has taken over on an interim basis.
Director David Miller resigned after nine years at the head of the library, a few weeks after the opening of an $5 million facility in the heart of town.
Miller said in his letter of resignation that he was leaving to pursue other passions. His tenure ended on June 30. Heather Hardin assumed the role as interim director the next day.
