Over 100 attendees gathered at the University of Southern California in April for the 2023 American Society for Engineering Education Pacific Southwest Section Conference. From Thursday, April 13 through Saturday, April 15, participants from the Pacific Southwest — which includes Arizona, Nevada, Hawaii, and California — attended the conference, held at the Michelson Center for Convergent Biosciences.
The theme of this year’s event was “Technology, Humanity, and Society: Educating All Engineers for the Future.” Participants discussed how engineering educators can cultivate the ethical engineers of the future who impact society in beneficial ways.
