Michael Werneke has been an entrepreneur ever since he graduated from the University of St. Thomas. Now Werneke, along with the rest of the team at the Scott County Center for Entrepreneurship, is able to help new businesses, giving them the help he wished he had had when he was starting out.
Werneke said the program — run by the county’s Community Development Agency — began in Prior Lake under the original name of The Technology Village. In 2017, the program expanded county wide.
