-Tracing Civil War Family History with Amy Truesdell, 6 p.m. at Rockland Public Library. Truesdell has traced the experiences of her great-great-grandfather as an infantryman in the 27th NY Volunteers as he transitioned from eager recruit to experienced veteran. -Happenings on the Harbor Presents “Holiday on the Harbor,” at Rockport Marine Park. The festive First Night Celebration opens at 4:30 p.m. with food trucks, fire pits, luminarias and music.
