GOAL High School’s 2021 graduation ceremony set for Friday at the Abbey Events Center – Canon City Daily Record

The Holy Cross Abbey Events Center will be host to GOAL High School’s 2021 graduation ceremony at 5:30 p.m. Friday. The ceremony is one of 23 being held statewide, mostly outdoors, with more than 1,000 graduates earning their high school diplomas. With more than 12 years of experience, GOAL’s blended online model has created unprecedented success across Colorado.

In Cañon City, they have taken it to a whole new level with a successful e-sports team (State Champions and National Runners-Up in 2019) and an incredible “maker space” addition to the site for maximum ability to do hands-on activities.

A high percentage of these graduates will receive workforce and industry certificates or college credits, and some will have already graduated from college, having earned their associate’s degree through GOAL’s concurrent enrollment program. The Cañon City student drop-in center…
