HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Libraries are full of stories in a variety of formats from picture books to large print, audiobooks to ebooks, and more but there’s so much more to the story. “So, the library is so much more than books and our community here in Huntsville and Madison County,” Cindy Hewitt, Executive Director of the Huntsville-Madison County Public Library. “The library is used by hundreds and thousands of people. We have 1.2 million visitors a year to the library to participate not only in checkouts and getting materials, but also in all the programs that we offer.”
