OROVILLE — The creative juices flow nonstop at the Makerspace Lab at Butte College.
The lab is located on the first floor of the Arts building and is dedicated to sophisticated, mostly digital art projects. Students and community members must sign up for a zero-unit class to use the lab, but there aren’t any fees. Those who use the lab can use as much of the equipment as they wish, and they can work on projects all day if they want to or use the lab for a certain portion of the day. Students can make embroidery, stickers, T-shirts, wood pieces, ceramics, metal and much more.
