The school-based property tax levy within the Williams Bay School District boundaries will see a 13,83% decline after the Williams Bay Board of Education on Oct. 23 approved the district’s 2023-2024 tax levy.
The board also approved the district’s final 2023-2024 budget.
The district’s approved $10,012,740 all-funds school tax levy, to be levied on all taxable property, real and personal, includes $7,858,177 for General Fund 10, $481,324 for Fund 38 non-referendum debt service, $1,527,509 for Fund 39 referendum-appproved debt service, and $145,730 for Community Service Fund 80.
In recent years, the district’s all-funds levy has been stable at $10,012,740 since the 2020-2021 school year with the exception of 2022-2023, when it rose briefly to $11,619,136.
