FITCHBURG — Making Opportunity Count and Three Pyramids hosted a Wall Breaking Ceremony last week to launch the construction phase of renovations for the Youth Innovation Center that will be housed in the Adrian L. Ford Center for Change, according to an announcement from MOC and Three Pyramids.
The building was dedicated to Adrian Ford, founder of Three Pyramids and longtime civil rights activist, following his passing in January 2021, according to the two organizations.
The renovation of the Youth Innovation Center, previously Cleghorn Neighborhood Center located at 18 Fairmount St. in the city’s Cleghorn neighborhood, is due to be complete by the fall and will include a new creative maker space, multimedia studio, and performance area, according to the two organizations.
