JOHNSTOWN, Pa. – The Made In Johnstown makerspace has partnered with Johnstown Area Regional Industries and Catalyst Connection to offer the community one-day and two-day monthly boot camps in metal shop, wood shop and electronics starting Saturday.
The free boot camps are scheduled to take place at Made In Johnstown, 507 Main St., downtown Johnstown.
Each fully sponsored introductory course is eight hours long, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and includes a blend of instructor-led, hands-on and project-based learning. At the conclusion of all programs, students will receive a bootcamp certification of competition and an OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) basic safety certification completion.
